CHICAGO CAMP MEETING 2018

The success of any UGAMAA camp meeting that we have heard has greatly relied on our personal financial resources that we contribute freely towards our family progress. This year is no different. We are glad to see that you are thinking about donating towards our camp meeting in Chicago this year. May God richly bless the work of your hand. KIREKA ADVENTIST HOSPITAL (KAH)

This is one of the big projects that the Central Uganda Conference(CUC) is undertaking. The drive was officially launched in March 2014 and still ongoing. The project is a strategic plan to efficiently fulfill God's mission of proclaiming the three angles message to the entire country through medical evangelism. The proposed hospital houses 500 bed and expected to cost more than 10 Billion Ug Sh. If you are convicted to participate, contact UGAMAA communication director for details.

UGANDA UNION OF THE SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST OFFICES

On the 22nd of November 2014 the Ugandan Adventist church worshiped with his Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, president of the republic of Uganda. The major occasion was to start a fundraising drive for the Adventist Union Complex, a 25Billion Uganda shilling Project. The president praised the honesty of the few Adventist officers he has worked with in his government. He donated cash 50 million Uganda Shillings on that day and a vehicle to the Union President’s office. He also pledged 100million Uganda shillings towards the Adventist Union complex construction.

The outgoing president, Dr. John Kakembo urged him to lean on Jesus in his leadership role. Currently, the union has gathered 2 billion Uganda shillings towards this project. The image above is the Artistic Impression of the complex.

DONATE TO UGANDA AMERICAN ADVENTIST ASSOCIATION

We at UGAMAA, we aim at serving all Ugandans on the North American continent and back home to Uganda, our mother land. However, our funds are so limited to do all that we would love to do here and in Uganda. We want to give back to our community and the best way to do that is through your donations. We will be grateful.

" As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God" 1 Peter 4:10

DONATE TO FARM STEW - UGANDA PROJECT

Until Recent, UGAMAA has looked for self help projects we could partner with or do ourselves to better lives of those in our sphere of influence. This year in Chicago, we had a presentation by Joy kauffman from Illinois. Joy Kauffman, MPH, holds a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelors in International Nutrition. She has served in local government, in various non-profits and with the US Department of Health and Human Services and is a certified Master Gardener. She’s the founder of FARM STEW, a recipe for abundant life.  Since 2015 FARM STEW has been mobilizing local Adventist trainers in Uganda, reaching over 34,000 people so far.  The work is designed to address the root causes of hunger, disease, and poverty, offering a hopeful witness to the world that points to the true source of abundant life, Jesus Christ.
